Man I would be the first to eat crow on that but you know deep down that this was a last resort hire and those usually don't end up doing well.

My favorite part of this?
People were laughing at others who were discussing the (legitimate) Herman leak, because some (illegitimate) nobody who had no history of talking about coaching changes was claiming he had insider sources.

Yeah, I'm still holding out hope. I just don't see the advantage of announcing now if it's O. It doesn't appear that Herman or Jimbo flat out turned the job down officially. So why not continue talks while Herman hears what UT wants to do--their negotiations could fall apart. So, why take us out of the game by rushing the announcement of a guy who has no other good options.
