Bowden and Joe Pa will both keep coaching until the other one retires/dies and then the remaining live one will secure enough wins to have the record and will call it a day. Both of them know that this record will never be broken.

Also, that Bear Bryant death thing is on their minds also.

I really think that Joe Pa simply cannot imagine not being a coach. He loves the game. Simple as that.

He went 11-1 this year and is in the Rose Bowl. I really don't think the game has passed him by. I think that his age may be making it hard to recruit but I also think that he is still a great coach.

...OK...lets see...Penn State 2008 = 12 - 1 ( one point loss on road last play of game FG), Big Ten Champs, Rose Bowl Bid, Top 6 ranking. Yeah. The game has passed him by.

Bra ,if you think he still coaching, that decrepit old bastard, that can't even stand on the sideline w/ out getting hurt. Then I have some lakefront property on the moon to sell you...

I bet that old Italian would whip your arse to the moon you disrespectful little punk. 10-1 alot coaches would kill for that record in the Big Ten.

Who gives a crap if the dude coaches from the booth he gets the job done. He's a fixture alright, he's gonna have a giant statue waiting for him in the hall of fame.

Jimbo needs to stay his arse in the golden chair - he isn't as good as Fla St. thinks he is and there is no reason for him to prove it to them any faster than he has to

Florida and Bama arent exactly tiny, they are two schools that have the resources to pay whatever they want.
