Tub and gruss (very trusted insiders at 247) don't think the ship has sailed with jimbo. As far as I can tell, his "new deal" didn't include any crazy raises that make him unattainable and FSU doesn't pay assistants anything. That on top of better recruiting and the personal reasons add up to him willing to come here still.

i guess take it with a grain of salt. When the fiasco with Les' firing last year, there were many people on here that said that Jimbo said he loved baton rouge and would definitely come back here when he left for FSU

I honestly think Jimbo would jump at the opportunity to go to LSU. I would guess that he is very high up on the list of candidates. Why wouldn't he be since he was coming last year until the Governor got involved and screwed it up.
