Impress with Coach O, Jimbo would have been ok hire at LSU. Coach O will get more out of his players. He will beat Jimbo.

Well yeah. He's the head coach at LSU and Jimbo is the head coach at Texas A&M.

Let’s think about the long term effect on the SEC. Saban is getting roughly 10 million, Dan Mullen is roughly 6 million, and Jimbo is 7.5 million. How much will LSU or other schools have to pony up to hire their next coach?

It's getting out of hand. Sexton's monopoly on SEC coaching talent is hurting the SEC.

Frick these naysayers. You want a good coach, don't go into the deal with one foot out. He's an upgrade to nearly every program out there.

ULM at Florida State

11:00 am WatchESPN

Must see T.V. signs in the stands, chants from the crowd. I'm surprised FSU is letting him coach Sat.

Worth it - say he wins nine on average. Raises recruiting profile, talent increase, and he gets to forge his legacy at A&M.

We spent a ton on infrastructure - now need the coach. And he’s younger than Sumlin

Someone posted where they are really paying much more for Jimbo

7M for his buyout
10M to Sumlin
7.5 next year to Jimbo

Actually, I heard we paid $40 million for Jimbo’s buyout.

I mean, if you wanna play that shite, jimbo isn’t actually named as coach yet either.

None of this shite is provable fact yet.

exactly- Could you imagine the backlash paying him that push and getting 3 losses a year. This will either be the largest bust in history or a Triple.

A $75MM paycheck gives clear marching orders: Anything short of a national championship over the next few years = a failed hire.

Welcome to Aggieland, Coach.

9 doesn't even guarantee you New Year's Day bowl. If that's the bar then ya'll getting ripped off.
