Jimbo Fisher was OC and QB coach at Cincinnati in 1999. Welcome to BR Denbrock.

Did Fisher get better and improve at LSU after joining Saban? I'd say so. They won a NC here in 2003.

Like saban, he also got a huge upgrade in talent when they got to LSU. Jimmies and Joe’s will elevate the X’s and O’s.

Exactly. It's why I am ok with hiring Denbrock. The NegaTigers on the Denbrock hire can turn in their TigerFan card.

Yes! I’ve never understood the immediate negativity about any hire. Wait and see what they can/will do. Every environment, players, recruiting, culture is different than the previous situation. That alone will result in a better, or worse, outcome.

What will happen will happen. If fans are optimistic or fatalistic makes no difference whatsoever in the outcome. I prefer to be excited during the off-season. If it doesn’t work out, well.. I’ll be unhappy then.

The only way they would be happy is if Bill Cowher would have been hired as DC and Tom Herman for OC.
