Personally, I'm not convinced Les wants Michigan and if he did, they would have meetings regarding the position. Say what you want about Les, highest LSU win percentage, top 5 classes consistently, etc. he would be a huge upgrade for Michigan.
What do you make of this comment by Jim Rome?

I have no clue if Meechigan wants Les but I don't think they are willing to pay Les and I don't think Les wants to go.

I also think his name isn't being mentioned because of the drama and the way he it ended in 07. And maybe he knows he's got one of the top gigs in the nation. Recruiting at LSU is like recruiting in Texas at UT, Cali at USC, and Florida and FSU or Florida. It causes less day to day job stress...

Another completely meaningless group of words (if you read them even halfway closely). It's ESPN creating the news, not reporting it.

I think he's right on. Les only comes out and says he wants to stay once his Alma mater again gives him the cold shoulder. Miles is a big ten guy, look at the way he talks. He's a northerner. His heart is at UM. They have no interest in him.

I was simply pointing out that it's pretty weak that people are claiming Les is a Tiger at heart and is shooting down UM. There is nothing to defend that statement. Logic points the other way.
If you want to go there....
Atleast Nick shot down a few superior offers(NFL) while coach here...
Miles has never officially been offered any other positions. Likely, because no one wants him. Yet, people are praising him for his allegiance to LSU.
