If little Briles doesn't work out, we should take a look at the Lions OC, Jim Bob Cooter. In the NFL he's spread defenses out and attacked individual matchups across the field. He's not afraid of going after the big play. The Lions just fired their HC and he will likely still be an OC in the NFL.

Zero, and I mean zero, chance he comes to LSU for an OC job.

Decent chance he's an NFL head coach within the next 2-3 years.

No pro team wants a HC with the name Jim Bob, this guy is destined for the SEC. We pay our OC'S very generously and can consider him for HC when Orgeron hopefully gets squeezed out.

A last name of "Cooter" is bad enough. Choosing to go by "Jim Bob" instead of "Jim" or "James" significantly reduces his chance of being an NFL head coach.

lolwut? Dude is in consideration for NFL head coaching jobs, there is less than zero chance he'd work below Meddlin' Ed.

My thoughts exactly the first time I heard this name. He's real though
