Let me get is straight, in your opinion people will never improve?

10-4 I really do believe you are the same as the day you were born. No sarcasm there

No mention of Gerry DiNardo? List is isht.

What connection did Dinardo have with LSU, prior to becoming HC? Maybe I'm missing something?

It's so funny how O gets lumped in with the trash. Miles deserves to be on that list more than O. But then again he spoke in toungues

Lol, are just in the tank for O or are you this stupid?
It was time for Miles to go, but he's one of the best coaches in school history. He won a NC had 4 top 5 finishes and another top 10 finish 2 Sec titles. He had 2 separate 3 year runs of 34-6, but he's closer to those other coaches than a guy that was 10-25 because as an interim that guy is 11-4? With 1 quality win

Nope. My opinion has been, from the beginning, that LSU should not be the place for his redemption. We aren't his proving grounds. He should take a job at a mid-major like every other coach and prove himself there. That's been my position consistently.

I also think improving from a 10-25 coach to a coach capable of winning titles would be fairly unprecedented. I think Gene Stallings would be the only coach who could fit that profile, and he at least had a winning season at A&M and got a job in the pros before moving to Alabama.

I want Herman but I don't see what trashing O has to do with that

I can understand that you think he should prove himself at a smaller school.

But if jimbo or Herman don't come, who else do you really believe in? I'll hang up and listen.

I've said this from day one.

Willie Taggart. Rebuilt WKU and USF. His USF team beat Navy and SMU, the teams that beat Houston this year. Has been a head coach for 6 years and is only 40. His only losses this year have been to a resurgent Temple and FSU. He's a coach with talent and vision. USF was 2-10 when he took over. In his fourth year he is 9-2 with a chance to go 10-2 and play in the AAC championship game.

I mentioned him when miles was fired. Got roasted. I would actually like him over jimbo.

Jimbo doesn't impress me at all. Just my opinion.

I think we need to go in a direction away from O and Fisher. Taggart would inject new blood into this program, and could, ideally, stay here a long time if he works out.

Your entire intellect hinges on this statement.

Not trashing O, his record as a HC speaks for itself.

That is true.

I just don't think O is the end of the world for us.

Miles was terrible and he scraped 11 years out of LSU. We won in spite of that clown.

Miles was average. Great recruiter and was an alright offensive coach until 2008. Jarrett Lee made him scared and he started calling games that way. Go watch those old games. The difference in the way LSU performed in 2007 to rest of his tenure is alarming.

That was all Crowton.

O is a better recruiter than Miles.

Don't really see that as an issue

O's reign at Ole Miss frightens me. Read the book Meat Market by Bruce Feldman. O was out of his depth in a big way there.

Pointing out his record is not trashing him. You saying Miles is like coaches that he was clearly vastly superior to on the other hand...
