Wow, thought this was pretty much a done deal. Could be a totally new offensive staff for LSU next year.

Memphis football club wanted Larry Porter. In a newspaper poll they wanted Porter over Gray by 80%. Letters were said to be sent, etc. Numbers of fans may have out weighed Fred Smith's money. HMMM! Now, who will he take with him, as the pay is poor. Certainly....not in the ballpark with LSU.

He's a great recruiter, and that is about it.
