Can he recruit?
I wouldn't understand this hire given he's 67 and if the chiefs make the playoffs which it's looking likely you won't have him at all to recruit for NSD.

This would be an absolutely ballsy pick on Kelly’s part. I’m willing to give Kelly the benefit of the doubt in constructing his staff, but if he were to make a choice like this and it didn’t work out I’d have serious doubts going forward.

Recruiting won’t be as important as X’s and O’s in my opinion. If he is a great X’s and O’s guy and a serviceable recruiter then I’m all good with it, especially with having Frank back.

No idea if he’d be a good DC at LSU or not but based on his resume, it would be very puzzling.

If he is even considering his it a major red flag for me. Woodward has given you an open check book to go get anyone you want and you are screwing around with some 70yr old who is gonna ve lost about the college game?

Every coach this board has named by inside sources has been dead wrong, besides Kelley is not going to discuss his DC hire till he is absolutely ready to be named.
