It's going to be pretty quick. I would say late Sunday or early Monday. The NYT has a story about Swarbrick, and it mentions that Charlie is going to fly back with his team after the game and not stay on the West Coast to recruit as he has done before.

ND, like any school looking for a coach, shouldn't fire him until the next coach is already lined up. I think it's a bad move to fire a coach and then commence a new coaching search. The media frenzy kicks in and pesters coaches until they're backed into a corner and have to answer "yes" or "no". Sort of like the Michigan-Miles saga in 2007.
