Yes, indeed...

schools will adapt their practices to be more covert.

Georgia figured out how to do it.

Question is Chicken, what is your version of events on why we did not fire Miles? I know you have your sources being the King of the Rant and all....

Chip's not leaving the NFL. He hates recruiting more than the draft and by a long shot.

This is Chip's recruiting pitch: "Come here if you want but we'll win without you."

He also hates donor smoozing.

Yeah, Chip Kelly is really the anti-Saban in the sense that the NFL didn't fit Saban because he excelled at things like recruiting and donor relations, whereas Kelly hated that stuff.

I see Chip Kelly coming back to college only after he's exhausted his NFL head coaching options. When/if the Eagles cut him loose, he'll go somewhere else (likely Tennessee) until that doesn't work out, and only then will he come back to college.

There were some rumblings re: Richt getting canned, albeit nowhere near the extent of Les

LINK

Man, i just feel like this is going to be worse for Les next year. Saturday would've been as good a send-off as you could imagine.

I can't believe the decision to keep Les was all Joe. It was going to be pretty expensive to fire Les, and someone was going to have to pay that bill. I bet whoever initially agreed to pay that bill said "No Jimbo? frick it then." Hence Les staying.

Most "insiders" don't believe that it went down that way at all.

but the administration so badly miscalculated the response from fans, players and the public that those leaks actually played a big role in him keeping his job

stupid women and poor arse players and students had more of an impact than rich LSU boosters.

I bet those old men are so pissed off.

UGA should be held up as the gold standard for how to fire a coach.

For starters, Joe never made the decision to keep Les and the politicians from the LSU side got involved and shut it down. It wasn't shut down from the "Jimbo" side.

FWIW, It's looking like Saban has been an even more unhappy camper lately during press conferences. It's only an observation, but at this point, what more does he have to prove there while seemingly wanting to blow up on someone? Take it at face value....
