Ole Miss was going to play hard regardless because they know they are in playoffs with a win whether with or without Kiffin. Plus like Kiffin stated himself, player relationships with head coaches isn’t near what it used to be before NIL. Most of those players for Ole Miss doesn’t give a shite about the coach. They are there to get paid and win no matter who the coach is. Period.
