I was told by my buddy who is big Florida alum and lives 30 minutes away that they would never hire Mullen because all the florida high school coaches hate him, and he is a terrible recruiter.

I was surprised they hired him to begin with but he has never had full support of all Florida fans etc

I could see UF winning the remainder of their games and this will die down. I do think if they do not win the rest of their games especially against FSU then Mullen could be out. This will wait till the end of the season and to be fair it should. Mullen is not a terrible coach. I think he would be a great NFL X's and O's Guy. Top it off with not having to recruit.

Mullen will be fired if he loses one the 4 remaining games.

He may be fired if he wins out, that’s still possible - albeit not as certain - but he will definitely be fired if he drops one of these final four games.

The pitchforks are out down there, it’s starting to get ugly fast.

This is not an O situation where he still has support from 25-50% of the fanbase. Mullen has lost all support.
