So!!! I didn't like it and I think it was not justified and I don't find him to be credible when it comes to inside info on this matter. No matter what is stated here from certain posters. JMO.

he said it was just his opinion...calm the frick down. most folks start with the opinion that radio hacks make most of their shite up in order to draw attention to themselves, so some skepticism is warranted.

Ugh yeah I have a life, I am pointing out that he jumped in with everyone else about a year ago stating how LSU players in the NFL sucked because of college coaching. I mean apparently it just took them a while to get their shite together. And apparenlty he doesn't have very many original thoughts according to one of the posters. So to the OP I don't think that gives him much insight into what is going on here, but hey I could be wrong.

The show isn't bad. It was great early in the season when Landry was breaking down the problems with the offense. He pretty much said the coaches severely limited the qbs because they were bad decision makers.

I've gathered that Landry doesn't care for miles too much. I'd think Maximus would be a #1 Landry fan because of that alone

Ok in regards to the comments Landry made about LSU. I know for a fact that he did an interview and the statements he made about LSU were totally taken out of context. He talked with a reporter for 45 min about how well the LSU football program is doing. The reporter only included the few negative sentences that Chris said. Miles inherited a top 3 program he had nowhere to go but down. Our program is not where it was when Saban left but thats not Miles fault, there is simply nowhere to go but down. Chris Landry loves LSU! I have a journalism degree from LSU and know for a FACT that the jackass that did the story took everything out of context, he didn't include a single positive thing Landry said. Let me put it in terms you might understand. If you interviewed me and I spent 2 hours telling you about my experiences as an LSU student I would tell you about how I cried on the field when we beat FLA 28 21, about the joy I felt in Kentucky when Devery did the unthinkable. I might mention that the parking department is a bunch of assholes. The story would only include my comments about the parking department and the story would leave you with the feeling that I hate LSU. Journalists have the power to tell the story, bend it any way they want to!

Chris Landry was the victim of an unprofessional Geraldo Rivera piece of shite.

Landry wanted LSU to go in a different direction than Miles in 05 and he stated such on the air as late as this year.

I think the fact LSU didn't take his advice hasn't sat all that well with him. imo

I listen to Landry on the 1210 and he is the best at giving you the true picture. He will not sugar coat anything and he tells it like it is.

My take is Landry may know things about football and talent etc....but I don't buy the fact that he knows that Miles talked to Michigan and their reply was, "we are not sure we are interested in Les Miles for half the money he is making now?"

that's a back handed insult to Miles.

Les Miles is a big name in College Football.

He is a personality, yes he has made goofy comments and game decisions, but he is a winner. That's a fact! after 6 seasons Numbers don't lie.

Les Miles is staying at LSU most likely, I expect him to win 80% of his games (Based on 6 year track record).

It's not fair to compare him to Nick Saban....Different coach, a little difference style.

Les Miles is 2-2 against ole Nicky....just leave it at that..

We are still putting guys in the NFL...."Each player must have their own self determination"

that's on the player, not the LSU coaches!

You're expecting too much of these guys. Why would they consider having their facts straight before spouting off.

So, you really think administrators/power players at Michigan would tell one of their own who happens to rank in the Top 5 of all BCS coaches in winning percentage for the last 6 years that we wouldn't take you at 1/2 your price???

Look, the guy has some connections and can intelligently talk fooball, but he likes to blow his own horn and say "I told you" way to much for me.

Just today he was saying Miles was working behind the scene to get the Michigan job. Has that been reported on ESPN, Fox, Yahoo, CBS, or newspapers in either state???

Not that I have seen/heard, but he knows and no one else does?

Sorry, but that doesn't pass the giggle test for me, but each to our own.
