Stayed at Double tree right next to team hotel, very very nice, and affordable. Dallas is an amazing town. DID the mavs game, as we exited got on local tv station, which films news right outside stadium. Had dinner uptown at Perry's saw 4 Masseratti's not a single bum the entire trip, wasn't panhandled a single time. Very safe and clean downtown. Dallas is big, clean and there is lots to do! The Oregon game is going to be a week long trip with Golf, a rangers game and a visit to the Ghost BAR! FO SHO

It was a huge debacle. There was no parking at Humperdinks, there were 2 long lines 1to get in the restaurant and 1 for shuttle tickets, even if you pre booked. It was about like trying to get free rolling stones tickets. I don't blame the Alumni Association because I am sure they are good folks and there Tiger fans right? But it was run about as good as a Les Miles 2 minute Offense. People were parking on the grass and some guy was saying there coming to tow you......

People don't understand LSU fans roll deep!
Ok in regards to the comments Landry made about LSU. I know for a fact that he did an interview and the statements he made about LSU were totally taken out of context. He talked with a reporter for 45 min about how well the LSU football program is doing. The reporter only included the few negative sentences that Chris said. Miles inherited a top 3 program he had nowhere to go but down. Our program is not where it was when Saban left but thats not Miles fault, there is simply nowhere to go but down. Chris Landry loves LSU! I have a journalism degree from LSU and know for a FACT that the jackass that did the story took everything out of context, he didn't include a single positive thing Landry said. Let me put it in terms you might understand. If you interviewed me and I spent 2 hours telling you about my experiences as an LSU student I would tell you about how I cried on the field when we beat FLA 28 21, about the joy I felt in Kentucky when Devery did the unthinkable. I might mention that the parking department is a bunch of assholes. The story would only include my comments about the parking department and the story would leave you with the feeling that I hate LSU. Journalists have the power to tell the story, bend it any way they want to!

Chris Landry was the victim of an unprofessional Geraldo Rivera piece of shite.
Hey Nature Boy the 70's called they want their Rick Flair pics back. And get ready to go 0-2 against the SEC. Auburn is going to stomp you, then we have something for your arse next Setember
Dukke- Its amazing isn't it? I like this site and read it often, but I think its as accurate as one of those 8 balls that you ask a question then shake it and see what the ball says. There isn't a person on ESPN who has as much football knowledge as Chris Landry does, If NFL teams pay you for your opinion I would say that is pretty goddam reliable. And he is a paid expert on FOX sports.
It is amazing to me how misinformed some of you are on here. Everyone on this site is such a goddam wise guy. There isn't a single accurate description on here of who Chis Landry is. Chris Landry was a GA at LSU and learned offense under Arnsbarger- I know its spelled wrong tough guy.

He discovered Steve McNair out of high school and drafted him while he was on the staff with the Houston Oilers, he was responsible for the amazing draft success of the Tennessee Titans in his recommendation to draft, Jevon Kearse, Eddie George, Frank Wycheck, and many many others! He coached under belicheck at Cleveland and worked side by side with Nick Saban!

Chris Landry is one of the top 5 evaluators of talent in football and moved to Baton Rouge to take care of his ailing mother! He runs a scouting service out of his house and a coaching service, for schools looking to hire a head football coach. Chris is not arrogant or high on himself he played golf for LSU in the 80's and donates large amounts of his time in the summer to teaching kids golf for FREE!

I have never met a more knowledgeable, friendly, down to earth person in my life. If you have ever listened to his radio show you would know this. He makes peanuts doing the show on Pelican and does it out of a sincere love of the game of football. After reading the comments in this thread I have lost a lot of respect for Tiger fans, and am a little ashamed to call myself one.
