In 2 OC searches, we’ve conducted 1 interview

And that was Matt Canada, and that was obviously a sham interview that revealed nothing
O called Kiffin last year- no dice
O interviewed Canada- hired!
O begged Kiffin again this year- nope
O told Gilbert he couldn’t bring his OL coach
O finally convinced Stevie E.

I remember when LSU was a football power considered to be a hot coaching destination
Good times.
Good times.

have to admit, anyone who gave canada a "serious" look, i mean a "real" look, it was clear as day while he was a good coach, he had issues working with others, recruiting is skeptical since hes always moving on after 1 year, and has constant wondering eyes looking for a better job and would be gone as soon as he had any success at all.
so why would anyone seeing that say "this guy will come in and make our program better for years to come"? at best if everything works out the most bestest way you could have hoped for, he gone after a year maybe two at the most
this is not a guy you bring in for long term success and stability in your program

If we’re being honest, we probably haven’t had a legitimate series of interviews for the OC position since kragthorpe
