Probably been negotiating with all parties to get the best deal.
And he is probably still thinking about leaving. Just cause he hasn't signed the contract doesn't mean he is coming to lsu.

Programs arguably better than LSU with more resources/NIL:
Oregon

Texas Tech
Programs that are currently better because they have good coaches and less pressure to win from a delusional fan base:
Indiana

Programs that are on the rise and will surpass LSU in the next 5 years:
Ole Miss -since LK is staying
Tennessee since Heupel is better than what we will get
