Lane and LSU was always meant for each other. The timing hasn't been there and Woodward sabatoged anything to do with edO and wasn't having kiffen 4 years ago or so. I knew then and still believe that Lane kiffen is perfect for LSU and LSU is perfect for Lane

Uh, if a coach won’t accept something along these lines, that speaks volumes. Someone who wants to be a HC and is confident in their ability to succeed jumps at this.
And yet, no coach that we know of has accepted a deal like that. Anyone worth a shite can get guaranteed money from another program.

But if you are the one doing the hiring and are looking for someone to build your house...why would you want to hire the guy that has a long history of either being fired or quitting before he gets the roof put on?
Well, I think your first problem is comparing this to blue collar work.
It’s much more comparable to executives. Who leave all the time to go be executives elsewhere. There’s never a good time to quit your job. Or get married. Or have a baby. But sometimes life calls and you either answer or you don’t.

I think LK has built OM a fine house, better than anything else in their recent history. Isn't that really all you can hope for with a coach, leave the program better than you found it?
