I can agree with that. That said, he's still never coached in a bowl game.

I don't disagree that he's a good coach. He's going to be on some radars if he sustains that success. He's just a year or two out that though. As a AD I'd like to see what he does when this class is gone. Especially since he doesn't have any HC experience anywhere else.

My larger point is that it doesn't have anything to do with race though. From all accounts he's well respected among the coaching community too.
