... and I'm not saying I support that.

We would obviously try to keep Aranda. How would you want to round out the rest of the staff, especially the OC? I don't think Einsminger is a long term fit there.

I definitely would want to keep Jabar and Damien Craig. I would think Orgeron could probably get that done.

It's too soon to tell, but I think the only spot that may change is Ensminger. With the way they played last weekend, I don't see a change happening, though.

Again, too soon but at this juncture, I'd imagine everyone stays.

I'd consider Kiffin for OC. Not sure if Bama would get in a bidding war to keep their OC. Maybe, since it is LSU trying.

Or could go for Major Applewhite since he's Herman's right hand man in Houston.

I'm still hoping for a regime change myself. That said, if Eaux gets this team on a roll and we win the West (which means winning out, imo), then you can't really argue against him.

If we lose Herman to Texas, I think we should bring in Sterlin Gilbert. He will be out at Texas, because Herman will bring in Applewhite. I think he could be a really good OC for LSU.

There's no chance they would let Ensignmer keep the job, even if O stays. They would want O to go get a more exciting name to appease the fan base.

Saban brought in Sarkisian to replace Kiffin, they may drive up the price, but they aren't sweating losing Kiffin.

You are high if you think Kiffin isn't positioning himself to become a head coach. It's the primary reason why Sarkisian was brought aboard in Tuscaloosa.

Even if Kiffin doesn't pursue a head coaching job this offseason, why would he make a lateral move within the same conference?

Because Kiffin is still toxic on some level, still a rogue hire for a HC. I could maybe see a UH taking a chance on him, but no big time program yet. Plus, he may want to give an FU to Saban for a couple of years in the same conference before finally getting a big HC gig. It just seems a little too early for him to get a prime gig (like, say, Oregon), but maybe I'm wrong. Or high!
