If we do alter Les Miles' contract to retain him

I hope we get something out of it, and by that I mean a bigger buyout. I would love to know if Miles left LSU we would have a couple of Million to start our search.


I hope we keep Miles, but if we don't we will still be LSU.

The problem with a buyout is that LSU maybe the one to pay it when we lose four games next year.

The buyouts don't have to match- surely Arkansas isn't on the hook for 20 million if Petrino leaves?

I don't think Miles wants his contract changed.LSU has to keep his salary in the top five of college football coaches. If he wins 10 games in a regular season he gets an automatic one year extention.Les has the best contract in college football so I don't think it will be changed because it is great the way it is now.By the way, he isn't going to Michigan.They would never match the contract he has now.Half their fan base didn't want him last time there was an opening.He stays and retires from LSU.
