I don’t see how the hire could be Kelly…why would he announce he was leaving when his team still has a chance to make the playoff?

Kelly would be stupid to leave Notre Dame. You have an easy way into the playoffs most seasons and no conference championship to play.

What does the playoffs have to do with anything, the playoffs are long ways out.

The playoff would be decided early next week after the conference championship games…which doesn’t really make sense with what JV said about having our coach named this week by Wednesday…which is my point as to why I don’t see why Kelly would leave this week while having a realistic chance at making the playoff.

If you believe JV it makes no sense.
LSU has an announcement, that we're going to have an announcement at some future date.

How does it make no sense? My point is if our coach is to be announced THIS week per the interview with JV I don’t see how it could be Kelly…he wouldn’t leave while ND still has a shot to make the playoff.
