You know, we got sick of Coughlin in Jacksonville too. Now we wish we could have him back. Hind sight is 20/20 and be careful what you wish for. Look at what the Jags have been through the last 7 or 8 years.

he will likely be gone if the Giants lose either of the last 2 games...

The only way he keeps his job is to win out and make the playoffs. As a Giants fan, I am interested to hear the rumors about his replacement, because right now, I could take him or leave him....... Just want to finish one season strong since 07.

He could lose Saturday and still win the division, so no. A loss Saturday won't change his status.

The taskmaster probably is better off changing jobs every five years or so, kind of like Saban

Players don't respond as well over time

Coughlin would be a good fit in Minnesota or KC

Coughlin would be perfect at penn state as a short term fix

having coughlin or not wasn't gonna help the jaguars. shaq harris and gene smith sunk the team from the from office. can't wait to see tom get fired again

I agree, Harris and Gene Smith are responcible for the sinking ship. But I'm just saying careful what you wish for. Coughlin is a tough coach to work for but why can't these cry babies suck it up. My goodness they make a lot of money to be the best at what they do. Coughlin expects these players to work hard and why not? Just saying. If you don't want him in New York I'd take him back in Jax.

This. The Giants have some talent, but they have less than the Eagles and Cowboys and he's doing more with what he has. Manning is good, WRs are eh.. Jacobs hasn't been the same and Bradshaw has been eh this year. The defense has a little talent on the line, but the secondary is a joke and linebackers are so so at best.
Bottom line, he's a good coach but they need defensive talent to be better.
