What's to keep another school from offering 6 mil? 8 mil? Two BCS championships at two schools is strong. Would ND do it?

I've said this multiple times. Nick Saban will not leave Alabama. Why would he?

I wish I has a dollar for every time an LSU fan said that.

He may very well stay at Bama. I just wonder how far another school will go to lure him away.

Great game, btw!

I thought the same thing when he won the championship at LSU in 2003.

Because he is clean and you and I both know that the Bama boosters are "helping" him with recruiting. When ya'll get caught he will be pissed and off he goes.

He still hoped to be a NFL coach then. I think we can both agree on two things

1) frick the Dolphins

2) Nick Saban's hopes of a career a NFL head coach are gone.

what in his coaching career would lead you to believe he prefers to maintain a program rather than build one? All of the reasons i've seen bama fans give that he would stay usually aren't things that interest nick saban.

Nick Saban is not leaving Alabama. He is 58 years old and doesn't have a place of Legacy that will roll out the red carpet for him after he retires. At 58 years of age I guarantee that is what he is thinking. He burned that with Lsu so now he is going to stack his legacy at Alabama. It is what it is.

No doubt ND would do it. And Saban is a midwest guy anyway - makes an inordinate amount of sense, so therefore Ranters will consider it out of the question

Anyone who thinks Saban will leave bama for more money is a dumbass and is too scared to admit the truth. HES NOT LEAVING. QUIT being pussys and hoping that he leaves so LSU can have an easier way to the SECCG.

It comes down to if he can maintain or is he a builder? I've always thought he's a builder of programs and then get's burned out and wants another challenge.

I want to believe that he would leave, but I doubt he has the mindset of "Man this winning SEC Championships and contending for the national title every year is getting kinda old. I think I'm burned out on the whole 'success' thing."

if saban is going to take another gig, he needs to act fairly soon. he's almost 60 yrs old. micro managing a football team takes a toll. he may already have decided to stay put and make bama his last stop. even if he loses his edge, he can last there another 5 yrs or so, bringing him to 65 yrs old.

He already has. And he's stated this before.
