He is undoubtedly asking for a raise and probably more for his assistants, etc...
No way OU starts looking if they are still working to sign a new contract with Riley.
This is so wrong. If they did this OU would owe him his 25.2 million buyout for termination.

There haven't been leaks because Riley will not leave if they win the Big 12 and go to the CFP. So, it's not in OU's best interest to have distractions. I'm skeptical (yet hopeful) he comes our way. I'd love to see what he could accomplish here.

Really think they have countered our offer and awaiting his final decision. Also think they already know who his replacement is. Whether that person is promoted from within or if Stoops comes back.

IF it’s Riley…no reason to think they would know it. He could be denying it across the board.
Or it could have been nothing from the beginning.
Or it could be that playing it out in the media is not how Lincoln works and not what he wants and all sides are respecting that because they want to take him or keep him.
We know nothing…so everything is possible.
