If Rich Rod is out at Michigan, do we want him here at OC in 2011?

I think most people would agree that Rich Rodriguez would be a better long-term prospect for LSU's offense, but would you want him here with the pro-style talent that we currently have for 2011?
Could Rich Rod adopt his spread option to LSU's talent at the skill positions?

Yeah, that would be great...now that we've recruited all pro style for the last couple of years. Really fugg it up good...

Yeah, like pro-style QB Russell Shepard.

Does not compute. RS never was going to be a QB at LSU and I am not sure why people cannot get that through their heads. He can run extremely well, but he cannot throw a football at the college level. Think about how dismal our QB play has been for the last few years, and RS still could not crack any playing time.

Yeah, like pro-style QB Russell Shepard
QB Mettenberger, who is already signed...not just committed.
QB Rivers.
Neither of whom could run Rich Rod's system.
Gargantuan OL and RBs.
It's quite clear if you remove your head from your rectum that Miles is gearing for a power run game with pro style passing mixed in.
Russell Shepard wasn't recruited in the "last couple of years". A couple is two.

thats what everyone said about Denard Robinson his senior year of HS, when nobody wanted to offer him at QB
Darren Thomas, is he a great throwing QB?
Systems make QBs brah...
This is all irrelevant anyway...
RR aint coming to be OC and Mettenberger is the QB

Anyone who wants Rich Rod any where near thier campus is really football retarded. He breaks rules and his O runs on gimmicks. You want an oc then go get a real one!

I didn't say RR wouldn't be a good OC, nor that Shep couldn't be a QB. But the fact is, we've spent the last two years recruiting for a different style system than he runs...and that's that. Mettenberger and Rivers canNOT run a Rich Rod system. Besides, Rich Rod will probably be a HC next season.
