Anyone new besides the old standby's of Saban, and Del Rio?

Dunno if Porter would go w/Miles if he doesn't get the Memphis job, & assuming Crowden's gone, it would be best to have an offensive-minded head coach. Either someone well-established who wouldn't bolt for the NFL in 2 years, or a younger, hungry, promising head coach who wouldn't be making a lateral move.

I like Petersen the most, and was shocked he made only $1.12 million (saw this in the link to USA Today's salary figures). Jon Gruden (like JDR) would be great, and yes, I know he just signed an extension w/ESPN, but that's broadcasting. Of course, I'd give my left nut to get T. Dungy.

Also, P. Hill at Fresno might be a good fit, or Central Michigan's B. Jones or TT's M. Leach. How's about J. Fisher, since Bowden apparently wants yet another year or two?

A lot of this depends on what N. Dame does (e.g., if U. Meyer goes there, worst-case scenario is Fla. getting Petersen or a guy on LSU's short-list).

Heck, LSU can double what some guys are getting now and do the same for a new OC and still save money. I'd bring in D. Dooley for OC (dude makes only $405K and is LA Tech's AD).

The morons want to run Miles out of town, and this is the A list you offer?

Thank you, I will stick with Leslie, rather than this group. Whittingham????

What about Mike Nolan, the Broncos D-Coordinator? Or another possibility would be Kirk Ferentz....

Gruden would be a great hire IMO, but didn't he just receive a contract extension from Espn??

Because if you think people are already unhappy with our offense, I'd hate to see it with that prick. Not to mention his mediocre recruiting.

Very true, but just a little surprised his name hasn't came up on the carousel of changes. I can't stand the guy personally

Um, I like Miles and all but Gary Patterson would coach circles around Miles in a Heartbeat, Kyle Whittingham and Chris Peterson would be above Les as well..

When someone says to hold out the top 3 candidates, how is that still an A list? And yes, all would coach circles around Les as would 30 other coaches around the country.

I'm guessing you won't be at the march this year.

Your list is fine oustide of Leavitt, he might be the biggest prick out there and his teams bomb every November.

would you consider being outcoached 8 times already this season as facts?

Maximus, if you could get Gary Patterson and you were the AD, would you fire Miles this year? Even with all the back lash and the possibility of him going 11-2 or 8-5.

I'm a middle of the road kind of guy, I like miles as a person but i dont think he is elite, I really like patterson and believe him to be the next "saban" caliber coach...or answer if you would fire him for someone else...
