If Les leaves, other coaches will take notice to the fact that he

was able keep the winning ways in spite of himself. Why? B/c of the recruits LSU is almost assured of yearly. One of those coaches will say to himself " damn, if he could do it, I know I can and I will get a paid a king's ransom in the process."
Cliff notes - If Les leaves we're probably assured of a better coach.

People forget that 6 years ago we took one of the few options we had available in Les. LSU made Les, not the other way around.

Yeah brah. Good selling point.
If that grass chewing retard could win 11 games 4 times in 6 years...
You're assuming of course that the next coach will attract the same or better quality of recruits that Miles and Saban did.

You are being sarcastic, but there is some truth to what you say. Most coaches are incredibly self confident and believe they will win anywhere.

Bingo!
With the foundation that Saban built, a monkey could win 10 games a yr at LSU.
Besides, as I have said before, LSU chances of winning another BCSNC goes up BIG TIME if Miles leaves and is very low if Miles stays.

Im assuming LSU doesnt hire an embicile, b/c the LSU bigwigs saw this coming and had a plan in place for a better replacement.

Right cause things just got so easy that he did nothing to contribute to being the winningest coach in LSU history. Do you idiots believe this shite?
Amazing he's been able to have Saban and Urbs lose to him 2 and 3 times respectively.
We'll fisnish top 10 and be preseason top 10 or 5 but the coach had nothing to do with it.

Im not for Les leaving. If he wants to thats his loss, but he doesnt deserve a bidding war from LSU for his services. We're going to get a better coach.

folks seem to think lsu is special, but in reality there are several places that have a great recruiting base and top notch facilities. the wrong coach WILL bring the program down.
i think any coach could win 8 games a year at lsu. only a special coach can win national championships tho, and that is obviously what lsu fans expect

Exactly. I eat, sleep and breath college football and had no idea who Miles was when hired.
Dinardo would have done better with the program Miles was left.

See my post from last week. Saban & Emmert changed the landscape from the monetary standpoint. Whole different ballgame now.

I agree
But
It is also possible Les is under estimated.
