If it's Jimbo, will he be able to flip any of his high profile recruits to us?

Pretty sure my concern is keeping the high profile guys we have committed

Duckie, being a recruiting guy, when a coach moves schools, what's priority #1: retaining the existing commits of your new school or trying to convince the commits at your old school to come over? Or is it a balancing act?

LSU and FSU have recruited some of the same high profile guys so there is decent overlap. He's a household name so it shouldn't be a huge loss overall.

When you move to a school like LSU, you retain what they have committed and work on others who are interested. You've got ot have a solid staff in place first though and I'm sure that will be his first agenda.

Cam Akers should be call #1 from our not committed list. I'd be making dozens of calls the entire flight from Florida to Louisiana.

That was the hot topic item from the Brennan interview last week, him and Cam playing for Jimbo.

I'd Jimbo comes here then we almost for sure land Marvin Wilson and Cam Akers. Each are top 5 players in the country. Also he puts Devonta Smith back in play. The only recruits in this class that we have landed that would hurt very badly if we lost are:

Jacoby Stevens (Austin Thomas is staying so JaCoby is too)

Myles Brennan (literally said he'll stay unless LSU brings in Paul Johnson to run the triple option)

Austin Deculus (Not sure what happens here)

Tyler Shelvin (not sure here either.

Agreed. Along with linebackers. Lots of linebackers.

Myles Brennan and Austin Deculus...Jimbo has to find a way to get those 2 to stay committed. Those are the two most important recruits in my opinion.

The stats they showed with Beckwith in and out for the UF game were mind blowing. Can't believe we're that thing at that position. Get on it, Dave.

Dylan Moses will be getting a call immediately if hired. This is all a big 'if' though. I'll believe it when I see it.

Not sure if it works this way, especially with Moses, but after a year of watching Aranda's defense, will that cause Dylan to think again? Or give him some pause?

Is there any hire that you think would make Brennan reconsider his commit? Like CEO?
