Wouldn't he have said it on National TV with the fox reporter right after the game.
Think about it. Grab the mic and say IM STAYING AT LSU I AM NOT GOING TO MICHIGAN.

He says that...he loses all leverage in negotiating a contract with LSU. I'm not speculating on whether he is staying or going...but anyone with half a brain in Les' situation would play things closer to the vest.
