While I'd admit that I don't know Wilson's goals in coaching.....however if I was him and I were to beat a top 5 Alabama team, and improved Arkansas team, a potentially match up with an 8-2 Western Kentucky team and a potential top 25 team with Oklahoma....if I did that and was only offered a 3 year deal I'd turn it down.
A coach should get 5 years unless something catastrophic happens. Even in the current landscape of college football i think 5 year contracts should be the norm.
