This guy has done nothing in 3 years the Qb's have not gotten better after 3 years under him. We continue to run the same fricken plays(about 6 total)every game.If a player gets hot then he is substited for.I keep hearing well LSU just hasn't had the QB play. WELL SH--!!!CROWTON is the QB coach DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!Miles had better let this clown go!Please dear God(LSU Admin) bring us a descent Offensive Cordinator!!OK i feel better now

I honestly think our real problem is the offensive line. Which should be better next year. We only lose one player and have an awesome recruiting class coming in.

to your title, we just won 10 games with a starting QB that threw 4 TDs and 9 INTs. we can probably get 9-10 again next yr even with Gary. so Les would still be ok.
if this were true, I may be ok with ol' Gary. depending on the 6 plays and when he called em.

the OL was way better than last yr, when I think they were the biggest problem. they even held up relatively well with backups in due to injury. the biggest issue by far this yr was QB consistency, or a lack thereof.

I disagree that our line was much improved. I went to lots of games and watched all of them several times and long pass plays rarely had time to develop. Teams like Auburn completely domintated our line and to me it's scary to think how many more yards Ridley will get when they get better. They were better at run blocking than pass blocking but the qb's were under a lot of heavy pressure from usually just the front 4. Teams weren't even blitzing us that much because they didnt need to.

This will not happen. Miles will be here next year for sure, as he should be. I think Crowton should go. He's had ample time to fix the offensive problems, but it appears he has made little if any progress.

He did fix the problems we are up from 102 in offense last year to 84. That is 18 spots!!

My bad. I stand corrected.

As per Miles---the last 2 years had the potential to be the best in his tenure at LSU.
Potential = talent and ability are there.
We have not seen this potential reached. So I take that as a coaching problem.
Next year---if we have same coach (OL coach) we have the same performance at o-line.

whole lotta fail here. QBs had shite loads of time to throw the ball....don't know what games outside of Auburn you were watching.
Not blitzing? Did you not even watch last Saturday's game?
Seriously, you show your ignorance to oline play.

yeah, I saw a lot of blitzing once JJ actually showed he could complete some passes. I thought our O line was way better than last year. Arkansas had some speed rushers coming from the outside we never seemed to adjust to.
Run blocking was definitely better, unless you think Ridley is 100 times better than Scott and Williams

OC Coach Gary Crowton is the problem...check his all time coaching record. In every coachng job Crowton has had, his first year has always been better that the next year.. Should be the other way around. One always wants to get better, and better.....Not Gary Crowton...he gets worse every year. His entire coaching career has been in a decline, from his new job. He only last 3 or 4 years, in a new coaching job.......Crowton head coach at BYU.. .......2001 (12-1) 2002 (5-7) 2003 (4-8) 2004 (5-6)...2004 FIRED...
