Was UMs late night shenanigans in BR, just a last attempt at swaying Miles? As Brandon boarded the plane in BR, Hoke was already a done deal since he agreed to take the job in Dallas.
Brandon probably sold it to Hoke that he was flying to BR to sooth Miles feelings about not being offered. Thats why you get the Schad report of "if offered."
Thats why they pay me the big bucks!
