Maybe a solid hire. My only concern would be his recruiting ability but wouldn't be so bad cuz LSU really sells itself.

Some would say the same about JH...fact is Shaw was JH O/C the whole time he was at Stanford. If JH is that good, Frisco must be nuts to want to trade him to the Jets. Shaw has what I think the Tigers need in QB development, Pro contacts, Offense suited for the athletes we have and will continue to have from Louisiana. If Frank Wilson can be enticed to stay, recruiting will stay strong. As far as leaving the west coast, I got 3 words...San Andreas Fault...go raise your kids on top of that.

Fact is...JH has taken SF to multiple NFC championship games and the Super Bowl without Shaw.
