Spoken like a man who doesn't want to burn any bridges in case Michigan doesn't make him an offer.
But he'll listen if they come calling again.
And this time, our AD won't be as eager to lock up Miles with a new contract the way that Skip did when he had to act fast to preserve LSU's shot at a national title. No title on the line this time and lots of boosters and fans that aren't at all eager to extend Miles' contract.
Expect a lot more comments like this from Miles where he doesn't straight out say "There's no way in hell I'm going to Michigan". He won't say that and nor should a man who has a Michigan specific clause in his contract. That clause wouldn't be in his contract if there was zero chance he'd ever take the Michigan job if it's offered to him.

I dont understand what people are expecting him to say? He can't win regardless. As of right now he may hvae not even heard from UM, or he may have who the hell knows and frankly I dont expect him to come out and tell us either way at this point. He still has a job to do on the 7th and he has to have his team believing. If he says yes they have called and we will speak after the 7th.. then what?
Right now I am more focused on what is coming out of UM than what Miles has to say about that subject. The season is over there. They can be more outspoken.
