Don’t let the idiots on the secRant dictate what reality is.
Saban and Jimbo aren’t worried. Kirby is not worried.
LSU in a good position to improve. CBK in an obvious upgrade is is currently busy destroying the bad culture at LSU.
He’s possibly chemotherapy. Bad immediate side effects.
Kills a problem.
I can’t say he’s here for 10 years. Can’t even tell you if he wins a championship.
Still needed.

And yet they aren’t donating to the program in the same numbers as LSU. If so, they would be number one on the list.
Not everyone is a football fan. They may have all those CEOs, but they could be culturally different than LSU alum. Many of those folks are international students. Football may not be their thing. Many of them are from other states and did their undergraduate work with a school closer to their heart….once again, not putting their money in the tamu football program.

TAMU isn’t even top 10 of universities with billionaire alums… they aren’t the richest school in their state. It’s weird how much this fan base tries to overcompensate for others programs.

This is true. I don’t why everyone is so concerned about how much a school spends or what the Wall Street Journal says. Bottom line all these schools our fanbase fixates on have plenty of money to throw at football players and coaches. Using that kind of logic all these bigger and more populated universities with twice the amount of alums like Texas would be winning NC’s every year. That school over there east of us wins all those championships the past 60 plus years because they have had two of the best college football coaches in the history of collegiate football. Bear Bryant and Saban are winners plain and simple. My entire life LSU has not hired great coaches in football except when we stumbled up on Saban. Charlie Mac was decent but he wasn’t Bear Bryant. The team east of us has been very fortunate to have two iconic coaches and the fellow they had in the 90’s wasn’t too shabby either.

Confusion comes in when the richest school is based on endowments. A&M is #1 in endowments but how does that relate to athletics is debatable. It does mean they have a lot of big time donors. And the NIL money is coming from somewhere. All are big time diners are spending all the money paying off O and his bad hires.
