Miles would actually be stupid enough to keep Crowton on this staff for another year?

I can't believe you are stupid enough to start another thread like this.

First of all a-hole, wait until after signing day before you are emphatic about Crowton staying. I am not saying he is gone, but you never know. Second, did you ever think that maybe just maybe it would be worse for JJ to learn a new system after he is starting to grasp this system. Third, well I don't have time to continue to point out the flaws in your post. Stay off this board Jerk.

The guy can't tell time or manage his timeouts. And you're just now surprised at his stupidity?

Grow up man.

Is your life really that pathetic that you have to flame an LSU coaching changes message board?

Miles is keeping crowton because

1. If the offense sucks again, Gary will take most of the heat for it and then miles will fire him. Then that will take the heat off Les and he gets a pass.

let's review:

yeah, let's review some of the sh!te you and your horde typcially fail at mentioning...you know, like all the hires/retainees? not just the ones you want to cream in your panties about.

and don't give me no lip about the first two...he could have ditched their asses to the street.

Fisher - kept by Miles;now a HC

Searls - kept by Miles; stayed two season afterwards;went home.

Dunbar - d-line/asst. HC; stayed 1 season, and moved to the show.

Monken - WR/passing game Co.; stayed two seasons, went to the show.

Porter - great recruiter; now a HC.

Pelini - now a HC.

Henson - TE/Recruiting Co.; good recruiter, went to Mizzou to coach OL.

Peveto - good, not great original hire; fail as co-DC;now a HC.

Mallory - good original hire;good position coach; fail as co-DC;now a DC.

Frank Wilson - supposedly a good recruiter;seems like a good hire, on the surface. we'll see.

Gonzo - see Wilson above.

excluding Wilson and Gonzo, all but Dunbar stayed Miles' first two seasons. LSU went 22-4, an SEC West title, and a pair of top-5's.

agains excluding Wilson/Gonzo, all but Dunbar, Monken, Fisher & Searls stayed for 3 yrs. and were part of the NC 12-2 team of '07.

Lane, '06 - bad hire;he didn't recruit well and development was crap on the DL.

Studs - good '07, average or so '08, bad '09.

Crowton - good '07, not so good '08, bad '09.

D. J. - good recruter, but horrible position coach.

Chavis - good hire.

Cooper - great hire.

Brick - i don't know.

trying to Band-Aid the horrible Crowton situation by making Gonzales some kind of honorary co-OC (passing coordinator), which we know by history is a fail.

Some perspective on Crowton.....

LSU had one of the Best Offenses in LSU History in 2007 with Crowton as the OC.

LSU had one of the Worst offenses in "recent" history with Crowton as the OC in 2009.

So what changed for Crowton. Everyone wants him gone, including myself at times. But, he's shown he can be extremely successful given the right situation. Has anyone figured out what sort of scenario needs to be in place for Crowton to have success, because he's proven he can be both good and bad.
