I don't see how you're hoping it's Venables and also hoping it causes OU to crumble.

If Brent goes there, it would be like a steroid shot for that program, and they'd be bringing a filthy defense to the SEC. That's probably the best hire they could make, honestly.

I despise OU beyond the limits that my vocabulary can express, having lived amongst their fans for decades, but this thread is weird and confusing.

To clarify, I'm 100% saying that Venables would be a home run hire for OU.

Maybe not so much at other programs, but definitely at an Oklahoma team that's about to enter the lion's den in the SEC. Venables is a fiery, smart guy who would be very good for them.
