Might as well pay him to leave. So 3 milli now or 3 milli then is still 3 milli. I realize you would still have to pay a DC salary if you fired him though.

Before calling someone a fricking retard, you should know the details. The 3-year contract was extended last year and the salary bumped. The contract is linked, and the math is on page 1 if you want to check yourself.
