There is too much smoke. Too much anticipation. Too much uncertainty. If Jimbo or Herman signs, then baw God I'll eat the crow. I absolutely no faith in Alleva or the band of misfits on the LSU Board.

I've never quite seen the way information leaks out this one floor administration building like the LSU Athletic Office. Capitol Hill has less sources than the LSU admin.

The lack of clear narrative and focus started last year and I have a feeling dollars to donuts will F us again. The money situation hasn't changed at LSU and F. Alexander is out there lurking demanding matching TAF donations for academics to rubber stamp the deal.

This just smells like underwhelming hire.

I said it the other day, this is going to be a shite show. No faith in alleva and sexton gonna get Jimbo a raise and god knows who we will be stuck with. Tennessee 2.0 is here.

I don't know what you're referencing but LSU people and especially donors have a problem with keeping shite locked down until a deal is closed.

Never say anything is a lock.

I've been preparing myself for a huge letdown ever since Les was fired.

We need to be going after Herman hard. He has the same agent as Les Miles, we won't have to pay a 5 mil buyout, and they're both going to require a salary upward of 6 mil.

I'm going to LOL when they pull Brian Kelly away from Notre Dams. No, actually I will cry but there is no way a big time guy comes here without die hard commitments to athletics investment long term.

I just think Alleva and Alexander aren't on the same page. One will frick the other somehow. Like I said, I think Alexander going to hold TAF hostage for donations to academics if it's a big deal. Just my gut.

If you don't get Herman or Fisher then give coach O a one year interim tag and try to find a home run somehow.

It's what OSU did and lucked into Meyer.

The only problem with this is you start to lose recruits and prestige. How LSU hasnt already with what theyve done the past 4/5 years is a testament to the great athletes in this State and their commitment to their States flagship University. If there ever was hard proof for the equation, "Does LSU recruit itself or does Less Smiles?"

Ohio State was 6-6 with a bad recruiting class on the way, with NCAA sanctions on the program and still got Meyer.

One blip doesn't matter.

I kinda expect it to be Jimbo honestly. If not Jimbo, then some second rate sack of shite from a small school we never heard of.

I've always anticipated that LSU will end up announcing Les Miles as the new head coach...with a big raise and a massive buyout.
