I am looking forward to SE being the OC at LSU

Word from a couple of folk is that CEO is looking a couple of replacements for OC but he still has a lean to SE. Wouldn't mind at all if he steps up and says that Steve is our guy.

I honestly believe SE is just as likely to be successful next year as anybody else we might bring in. Maybe not long term, but next year. Hiring him, though, is bad optics and leaves him and O with a lot shorter leash. If it didn’t work, it would all be on Orgeron.

He did call a few great games as interim and also sht the bed against Bama and UF. Set records that year as interim. Not horrible and I believe with the entire summer to work the offense he ran most successfully here as interim could work if we don't go back to ground and pound only against Bama and UGA.
I agree the optics are terrible and this is make or break for O even more so. No matter who he hires it's make or break but SE would make his seat even hotter.

Don't you have to ask yourself why? Is it because he see something in SE that no one else sees? Or is it his insecurity causing him to want to hire someone less threatening a weak personality that will offer no resistance to O's offensive meddling.

yep - me and a couple of other old salts get calls from the board - being stupid they just need to make sure the stupid LSU fans do agree with what they are up to

So every downvote to your post came from kids who aren't legal drinking age? I mean I openly admit I downvoted and I'm almost 40. I guess stupidity and ignorance hits my age group too, as clearly I fit that narrative since I cast my downvote.
