I'm just not getting it. By Alleva and O not hiring a decent OC, both of their jobs are in jeopardy. Our program is in jeopardy. Lsu will lose tons of revenue in ticket sales and merchandise.

Offer a well known OC 1.5 million, and make every one happy. After all, weren't we promised top coordinators when O took less pay?

Unfortunately when you have a simple minded AD and selfish lying coach this is your outcome. What I've learned from this situation is they don't care about lsu they only care about themselves.

Your answer is simple. It will help LSU in the future because it will make it super easy to get rid of O and Alleva.

Then we just cross our fingers and hope that the powers that be have learned their lesson. Then they don't allow Woodward to say no, and let him do what he does best.

Hubris, like Karma, can be a b*tch. Sow the wind, reap the whirlwind.

By then, we become more irrelevant. We need a boost now

The analogy of ripping off a bandaid comes to mind for some reason

As time goes on [unless it is Sark - don't want] the longer the time it is taking, the more I'm believing the money isn't the issue. I'm wondering if the best candidates see working for O as a career limiting [long-term] move and it's not worth the risk.

Of course they do! It’s gonna be Ensminger because nobody else is gonna come here and be a yes man for an idiot who is himself a yes man for an idiot!
I’m not always on board with Moscona, Butt he said it well yesterday when a caller asked if Alleva and O broke their promises to hire the best:
“I think when Alleva promised to get the best he thought he could get Jimbo, and then realized he was incapable of doing it. And then I think when O said he’d get the best OC in the country he was talking about Kiffin. And after that he was still able to pay a boat load of money to make Canada the highest paid OC in the country. However, now that he did what he did to Canada nobody will come here me work for him. So dishonest-no, incompetent-very!”

Only positive I see is that it will speed up the process of the firing of Ed.
