Just looked it up... he's 36 years old. I say if you're old enough to be president you're old enough to be head coach at LSU!

LSU is not likely going to hire someone that does not have HC experience to manage the LSU Football Corp

i Realize he is good the X and O's but his lack of HEad Caching experience is going to kill him. What will the powers that be be looking for. We got a glimpse of that in article on Pelini a couple of weeks ago

quote:

Such attributes suit a defensive coordinator. Would they suit a football CEO?

"Being the head man is not just about X's and O's," said Charlie Weems, an attorney and LSU dignitary who knows and respects Pelini. "You've got to be able to manage a massive program. . . . It's a logistical nightmare.

"You've got to deal with boosters and alumni groups and fundraising and the university administration and compliance issues. It's a big step."

Could Pelini take it?

"I think he could, but there's no way to know that," Weems said. "Hard to know how a guy's going to do when all that stuff gets thrown at him."

Weems is of course one of those people that will be consulted

you forgot to add that he has none of Saban's experience, nor has he coached long enough to gain the repect from his peers as Saban has.

Yeah, he wouldn't be able to put together a very good staff. Terrible idea.

The staff is already here! Muschamp could be head coach and defensive coordinator. Keep Crowntown and the rest and hire a new special teams coach and then we're in business.
