Did all this coaching stuff have a play in the last half of the season? I'm not bashing just want to know.

I lot more than people will admit. These are college kids and they are going to think about it whether you want them to or not. And no matter how hard the coaches tried to focus, they weren't able to focus %100 on the games

IMO, a bunch.

it's frustrating to see a DREAM/PERFECT season fall by the wayside bc of this shite.

I don't think it has much to do with the players losing focus. It's MUCH more about Pelini mailing it in because he can.

I like Les, but this loss set him back a lot in my eyes. I guess I should have seen it coming, we've been playing like shite for a while. There is no excuse for the way we played Sat., especially in the first half. And that falls squarely on Les and the staff.

A lot. Especially with Pelini.

With last year's playcalling on Defense, we're 12-0 and blowing teams out of the water.

this mimic's my thoughts exactly! I DO like Les, but I think he was counting on his little "fence riding" comments last Monday to keep the hounds at bay on the job situation. I feel like that "statement" was just "iffy" enough to put some tarnish on the overall ultimate outcome of this season. Maybe he thought that this team WAS special enough and bonded enough to get through that week unaffected, but IMO he rolled the dice and lost. He was the glue that kept holding things together in all the other distractions this year, and when he seemed rattled, the team "chemistry" was busted. I still walk around today on the verge of tears for this senior class...
