Looking at the comments UH fans seem easily pleased.

This guy is an up and coming coach. He's worked all over college and in the NFL.

The people in know within the program think this is a pretty good hire. I think it will turn out alright.

But make no mistake about it, he will have a huge rebuilding job on his hands.

How do you know that? Do you know Levine or his coaching ability? He happens to well thought of in coaching circles.

I'm not stalking you, I just happen to be reading a lot of the same post, and my question to you is what to you know about Tony Levine to say that they are going back to three and four win seasons? Tell me one thing you know that makes him a bad coach.

Tell us what you know about Levine because I'm genuinely curious as to why this is a good hire. Most people are reacting that way because they don't know anything about him.

Well for starters he has never been a coordinator anywhere and as Ole Miss, Memphis and Tennessee can tell you that is a great model.

Unlike O, Porter, and the guy Tulane just hired Levine doesn't have a reputation as a great recruiter.

To win at Houston you have to be outstanding. The last two coaches there were outstanding. This was the laziest most uninspiring hire the admin could have made.

We will see how it turns out. Losing Case is going to hurt more than any coaching change.
