You celebrated when we hired a shrimp boat captain and are crying when we just landed one of the top 5 coaches in CFB. 5 years ago if we got Kelly, yall would be celebrating. . . the only reason yall feel bad about this is b/c of the Riley debacle. THIS IS A GREAT FREAKING HIRE!!! He immediately brings smarts and credibility to the LSU football program.

Stand Kelly up next to the other SEC coaches. Outside of Saban, he is immediately better than than Kiffin, Jimbo, Smart, Napier, Leach, Harsin (who the hell heard of him before Auburn hired him??), Josh Heupel, Pittman and the other nobodies that coach the other SEC programs.

HELL Yes! Who the hell was Kirby when UGA hired him??? A defensive coordinator at Alabama. Tell me ONE defensive coordinator in America that you would have been happy with if LSU hired them as a head coach. You'd be whining on here about how LSU hired someone with NO head coaching experience. Kelly is a rock star hire!!!
