Love the Herman pick with Aranda my second choice. I DO NOT like JBF.Interesting to see how coach "O" feels after this move and what role he will play. DA may not want this job at this point...who knows but one thing is for sure, he will be a HC somewhere within the next 3 years. I just as soon see him in BR. Saban is a defensive coach as I remember.

Aranda does not want to be a college HC right now. His sights are set on the NFL ATM as a DC

Not sure if he has HC aspirations. He seems really low key. I did read he had NFL goals though??

I can't see why the hell anyone thinks Aranda just has to be a head coach in a year or two. The guy is very private and really likes staying out of the limelight and may not want to be a head coach. Hell, you barely see him during the game.

We do t know that Aranda actually wants to be a HC. From what I have read about him, he is a pretty quiet guy and doesn't talk much. Perhaps he has no desire to be in front of cameras and answering questions.

Not every great coordinator wants to be a HC. It seems to me Aranda may very well be one one of those. He seems to enjoy his hyper focus on Defenses.

Very well could be.....we'll see soon. I also agree that he doesn't look like he would enjoy all the frills that come with a HC. He is the assist. HC now.
