Scenario #1: LSU engages in a dazzling display of subterfuge, manipulating the media and fans to think it was Tom Herman, keeping Jimbo Fisher's pursuit dead silent despite Sexton's penchant for publicity to get his client paid, only to turn around and snatch Jimbo from FSU at the last moment.

Yeah, this is logical to me.
Not everything flows with logic, but I see a Jimbo #1 and it went crazy and Herman was #2 and it worked. I don't see the fail others may even if we don't land either.
You work with what's on the table. If you miss on tier 1, there is still talent in tier 2 - Gundy, Fedora, etc.
