I wish Briles wasn't such a shitbag. It'd be perfect to get him in now like Ohio State was able to do with Urban.

Probably the best comparison since OSU owns the state of Ohio like LSU owns the state of Louisiana.

Tenn owns Tennessee so Butch is also a fit.

Hell even as an Aggie I admit Texas owns Texas, which is much bigger than Louisana overall for recruits. That means Charlie was in an even better position than any LSU coach will be in.

You just never know.

The world "fear" has been thrown around a lot recently, but that would make me have some.

Then you go ahead and worry. Never know Ed O might take this team places the rest of the year and if so why not give the man a chance?? Then we can wait for a coach to come available.

I'm going to also say this if their is meddling in LSU football and sports by people with money then they need to step down bc apparently like Miles what they are doing isn't working either. Everyone says it is going on so STOP!! Move out the way and let people do their jobs. GT

If Aleva/King have done this correctly with some planning(scary given their track record), they reached out to their top choices' through their agents and received positive responses before pulling the trigger. If they now have to start the search, they may have set LSU up to fail. The way this all went down, with the staff already picked and Jenkins already agreeing, signals that some planning took place. Let's just hope and pray they don't screw this up.

And you have the answer or confidence our AD does?

Foolish response.

I'm actually excited about this game Saturday. I am excited about watching a game where our coach is actually trying to score on offense.

Yes. I've never seen a team look like they don't care if they score or not.
